J. SUZANNE DEHART of Shawsville has been awarded the Cora Lee Kaufmann Scholarship at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. A senior sociology major, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Gardner Jr. of Christiansburg and a 1989 Shawsville High graduate. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded each fall to an outstanding sociology or anthropology junior or senior.\ STACY MARIE COLVIN of Radford, third-year law student at Washington and Lee University, has been included in the 1993's "Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities." The William and Mary graduate is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Colvin of Radford.
\ CHRIS WORKMAN of Christiansburg was in the fall Dean's List at Emory & Henry College. Students on the list must have at least a 3.6 grade point average.
\ KIMBERLY A. JACKSON of Blacksburg is on the Dean's List at Ogelthorpe University, Atlanta. Students on the list must have at least a 3.5 grade point average.
\ ZACHARY ANDREW VEILLEUX of Blacksburg is on the Dean's List at the College of Wooster, Ohio. Students on the list must have at least a 3.5 grade point average.
\ ERIN L. WOOD of Narrows is on the Dean's List at Concord College in Athens, W.Va., with at least a 3.5 grade point average.
\ CARMEN ELLIOTT, a 1992 Christiansburg High graduate, is on the President's List the College of Health Sciences at Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley with at least a 3.5 grade point average.
\ BOBBI LYNN HANKS of Radford participated in the annual Nurses' Capping Ceremony at Pensacola Christian College in Florida.
