PROGRAM OFFERS HELP ON TAX PREPARATION
New River Community Action Inc. is participating in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, which provides free income tax preparation services to low income, handicapped or elderly people.
Assistance will be given with 1040EZ and 1040A forms only. Participants should bring all necessary papers with them. Tax forms will be provided. Assistance is available at the following locations:
\ Floyd: U.S. 221, south. Route 2, Box 700. Call Zelda Willard at 745-2102. Services offered Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-noon.
\ Radford: Grove United Methodist Church, 1020 Tyler Ave., Call Helen Kapalka Thursdays between 1 and 3 p.m. at 731-4107. Services offered Thursdays from 1-3 p.m.
\ Montgomery County: 106-B S. Franklin St., Christiansburg. Call Helen Kapalka or Emma Cromer at 382-6186. Services offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-noon.
