OBIT HAMPTON, MARTHA ADDIE JENNINGS

HAMPTON, Martha Addie Jennings, 93, of Boones Mill, died Wednesday, February 3, 1993. Mrs. Hampton was the widow of Coy G. Hampton. Surviving are five daughters, Mescal Porter, Boones Mill, Laura Dickens, Salem, Blanche Shelton, Lawrenceville, Ga., Barbara Campbell, Joppa, Md., Martha Ward, Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Estel G. Hampton, Keswick, Va., Jerry Hampton, Duluth, Ga., 114 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, 1993, with the Rev. Robert Sadler officiating. A graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at City Cemetery, Galax, Va. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
