OBIT GUSSE, SCOTT ALAN

GUSSE, Scott Alan, 37, of Salem, died Sunday, February 7, 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was employed in his family's business (Thompson's Men's Clothing.) He is survived by his wife, Laura Denise Gusse; son, Brandon Shane Gusse; mother and stepfather, Norma Jean and Frank F. Thompson, Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Steven W. and Vicki Gusse, Riverside, Calif.; sisters and brother-in-law, Robin and Andy Hodge, and Tina Arnold, all of Salem; grandmother, Lola V. Mercer, Roanoke; stepbrother, Scott Thompson, Delaware; stepsister, Dale Brumfield, Chatham. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel by Rev. Joseph Crowther with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Lotz Salem Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
