OBIT-CAHILL, HENRY DAVID
CAHILL, Henry David, 71, of Roanoke, died Sunday, February 7, 1993. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and a retired employee of Norfolk-Southern Corp. where he was superintendent of Road Forman Engines, Radford Division. Mr. Cahill was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 5th Air Force Division in the Pacific. Surviving are one sister, Dorothy Cahill Carr; brother-in-law, David L. Carr; two nieces, Hope V. Carr, Leighann Cahill; two nephews, Timothy D. Carr, all of Richmond, David A. Cahill, Victoria, Canada. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 1993 with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
