IOBIT-SMALLWOOD, CECIL

SMALLWOOD, Cecil, 79, of 4329 Ridgemont Dr., Kingsport, Tenn., died Wednesday, February 10, 1993 at Indian Path Medical Center. He had resided in Kingsport since 1949. Mr. Smallwood was a member of the American Legion, Elks and Moose Lodge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Smallwood was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; and his parents. Surviving are his wife, Selma Smallwood, Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Sue Grubbs, Roanoke, and Jane Hicks, Kingsport; a son, Jim Smallwood, Kingsport; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 12, 1993 at Hamlett-Dobson Chapel, downtown Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hamlett-Dobson Chapel with Rev.
