OBIT TOLER, REV. THOMAS D., JR.

TOLER, Rev. Thomas D., Jr. 75, of Roanoke County, died Monday, February 15, 1993. He was a graduate of Furman University, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hall Toler and a brother, James Montgomery Toler. Surviving are two sons, Thomas T. Dickerson Toler III, of Great Falls, Va., and Jonathan Warren Toler of Roanoke County; four grandchildren, Joshua, Erin and Joseph Toler, all of Roanoke County, Jacob Toler of Great Falls, Va.; one brother, George Robert (Bobby) Toler of Roanoke; one sister, Virginia Meloy of Botetourt County. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Rolen Bailey officiating. Private family interment will follow with the Rev. Dan Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
