PAIR OF SISTERS CLAIM $2.3 MILLION LOTTO POT

Two sisters on Thursday claimed a $2.3 million Lotto jackpot, the Virginia Lottery said.

Teresa L. Park, 43, of Virginia Beach, and Margaret R. Horn, 44, of Hampton, will split the prize, lottery spokeswoman Paula Otto said. They received their first check of $77,099 after taxes and will get 19 additional payments of $78,880 after taxes, she said.

The winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing were seven, 16, 24, 25, 28 and 39.

Otto said 32 tickets matched five of six numbers to win $1,805; 2,330 matched four numbers to win $53 and 40,083 matched three to win a free play.
