BLACKS AND MEDIA ARE TOPIC OF TALK

Editor and professor Salim Muwakkil will speak on "Distorted Images: African Americans and the Mass Media" March 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Radford University's Heth Ballroom.

Muwakkil is senior editor of the national biweekly news magazine "These Times." He teaches urban studies and instructs classes on African-American culture and media at Associated Colleges in Chicago.

The lecture is free and public.
