Christy Gail Monsour and Matthew Gerald Caveness were united in marriage on February 13, 1993 in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Father James Parke was the officiating clergyman. Thereception was held at Cabana Beach Club.Shannon Simpson was the maid ofhonor. The bridesmaids were TeresaMonsour, sister of the bride; LauraHuffman and Jennifer Rust. Theflowergirls were Kristen Nardelli and Lauren Nardelli, cousins of the bride.Michael Dircks was the best man. The ushers were Andrew Monsour, brother of the bride, Micah Thompson and ScottSartini. The scripture reading was by Kevin Selfe. The organist and soloist was Mr. Mark Duvall. Mrs. Sylvia Brammer, aunt of the bride, was the guestbookattendant.
Christy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andre Monsour of Roanoke. She is agraduate of Roanoke Catholic High School, attends Virginia WesternCommunity College, and is employed as Assistant Manager of County SeatClothing Store. Matthew is the son of Mr. Gerald Caveness of Bent Mountain and Mrs. Lorine Caveness of Salem. He is a graduate of Roanoke Catholic High School and is a writer for the Vinton Messenger News.
Following their wedding trip to The Homestead, the newlyweds will reside in Salem.
