OBIT GEARHEART, HOMER E.
GEARHEART, Homer E., 79, of Roanoke County, died Monday, February 22, 1993 in a local hospital. He was a member of Brookhill Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World. He was retired from J. H. Pence School Supplies. Surviving are his wife, Hazel H. Gearheart; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Oneda Williams, Reston, Ruth and Earl Chrisman, Roanoke County; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 24 with the Rev. Wilmar Wegner officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
