EX-WYTHE ASSISTANT JOINS PLANNING STAFF

A former assistant Wythe County administrator has joined the staff of the Mount Rogers Planning District Commission in its Marion office.

J.C. Higginbotham - assistant administrator from late 1988 until July, when the Wythe County Board of Supervisors discontinued the position in its 1992-93 budget - is writing grant applications and handling other commission duties.

Higginbotham is working part-time for the commission and helping to fill the gap left by three recent resignations.
