OBIT SUTPHIN, GOLDIE I.

SUTPHIN, Goldie I., 81, of Eaton Rapids, Mich., formerly of Roanoke, died Thursday, February 25, 1993 at her residence. Mrs. Sutphin was a member of the Shenandoah Baptist Church in Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deco Sutphin; her daughter, Patsy Ruth Jenkins. Surviving are her foster grandson, Vern Peterson, Eaton Rapids, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at the Shenandoah Baptist Church with the Rev. Albin Crutchfield, associate pastor. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids, Mich., is in charge of the arrangements.
