OBIT-EAKIN, HARRY REDMOND

EAKIN, Harry Redmond, 75, of 124 Fugate Rd., N.E., Roanoke, passed away Thursday, April 1, 1993. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church, was a retired employee of Brad-Regan Tire Co. He is survived by one son, David R. Eakin, Lynchburg; one daughter, Barbara E. Myers, N.J.; his mother, Mrs. Hyacinth B. Eakin, Catawba; four sisters, Frances E. Wells, Salem; Thelma E. Long and Christine E. Bain, both of Roanoke; Virginia E. Wright, Roanoke; two brothers, John C. Eakin, Roanoke, Charles L. Eakin, Catawba; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 3, with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 2 p.m. Friday.
