MARSHBURN, Ruth Tyndall, 72, of Route 7, Kinston, N.C., died March 31, 1993 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, N.C. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard-Carter & Stroud Funeral Chapel, Kinston, N.C. with the Rev. G. Rodney Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Kinston, N.C. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Faye Reynolds, Kinston, N.C.; one son, Dennis R. Marshburn, Roanoke, Va.; four brothers, Mercer P. Tyndall, Carnation, Wash., Robert G. Tyndall, New Bern, N.C., Arthur Coleman Tyndall, New Bern, N.C., Oscar Tyndall Jr., New Bern, N.C.; seven sisters, Doris T. Rhem, Pollocksville, N.C., Margaret T. Metzger, New Bern, N.C., Eunice Smith, Deep Run, N.C., Joyce T. Cahoon, Wilmington, N.C., Mary Smith, Newport News, Va., Lena Howell and Thelma Wade, both of Kinston, N.C.; grandchildren, Kathryn Michele Reynolds, Walter M. Reynolds IV, Jessica Brittany Reynolds, and Kimberly Hope Marshburn; good friends, Kathleen Brinson and Anthony Brinson of Kinston. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Howard-Carter & Stroud Funeral Home, Kinston, N.C.
