HOW WET WAS IT?
It wasn't your imagination. You just survived the wettest March in the
Roanoke Valley's recorded weather history. It rained on 19 of the month's 31
days. Who could forget the 16-inch snowfall, or the 2.2 inches of rain on the
fourth of the month? Roanoke's woes paled by comparison to the regional rain
champ - tiny Woolwine in Patrick County, where 11.49 inches of rain were
recorded.
