Holly Reed decided not to play tennis for Christiansburg High School this year because she wants to concentrate on her grades. Her mother said she has been accepted at East Tennessee State University.

A story on girls' high school tennis in Friday's New River Current, based on interviews with coaches, may have given the impression that she was ineligible to play this year.

In the same story, Stacey Crowder should have been mentioned with Gina Babicz as the team that finished second last year in the district.
