RADFORD U. SETS 16TH HIGHLAND CONFERENCE

Radford University will hold its 16th annual Highland Summer Conference June 14-25.

The conference, part of the university's Appalachian Studies Program, explores the heritage, environment and culture of the region.

The focus this year will be children's literature. All the visiting artists have published children's books set in the Appalachian Mountains.
