OBIT MARTIN, MAMIE A.

MARTIN, Mamie A., 80, of Roanoke, died Monday, April 5, 1993. She was a member of Waverly Place Baptist Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Silas H. Martin; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley M. and William D. Anderson, Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Jennifer A. Pendleton and her husband, Douglas, of Dover, Del., Jeffrey A. Anderson and W. David Anderson, both of Lynchburg; four sisters, Hazel King and Dorothy Leonard, both of Roanoke, Virginia Witt of Salem, Evelyn Sowers of Princeton, N.C.; and a brother, Edward Altizer, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
