OBIT BROWN, CARL LESTER
BROWN, Carl Lester, 77, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, April 5, 1993 in a local hospital. He was a retired building contractor and Past Master of the Vinton Masonic Lodge #204 A.F.&A.M. Surviving are his wife, Edna L. Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Susan Brown, Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Ella Rose and George Kasey, Dottie and Ronnie Victory, both of Roanoke; four brothers, Oscar Brown, Jesse Brown, Coy Brown, all of Bedford County, Ray Brown, Roanoke; four sisters, Helen Wheeler, Vinton, Nannie St.Clair, Bedford County, Belva Stevens, Roanoke, Hazel Ward, Vinton; two grandsons, Jeffrey Bragg and Randall Brown and two great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Donald W. Eade will officiate. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
