OBIT JAMES, PEARL KING
JAMES, Pearl King, 72, of Route 2, Boones Mill, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at Lewis-Gale Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Woodrow W. James; five children, Kay Fitzgerald, David James, Phyllis James, all of Boones Mill, Carl W. James of Gainsville, Fla., Carol Griffin of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; one brother, Clinton King, and one sister, Gladys Craft, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Robert A. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the James Family Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Boones Mill Church of the Brethren, Rt. 2, Boones Mill, Va. 24065. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
