OBIT RICHARDS, PAUL MONROE

RICHARDS, Paul Monroe, age 66, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at his home. Mr. Richards was born in Montgomery County January 7, 1927, to the late William McKinley and Hester Martin Richards. He was a former business owner in Blacksburg, and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Parker Richards; a son, Lloyd Paul Richards, Christiansburg; a daughter, Deanna Lee Richards, Longshop; one brother, Lewen Richards, Blacksburg; and special friends, Bob and Peggy Carroll and family, Blacksburg. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, in Westview Cemetery. The Rev. Jesse E. Woodard will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
