OBIT CLARKSON, JAMES LEWIS JR

CLARKSON, James Lewis Jr. of Lynchburg, died Sunday, April 4, 1993, at his residence. Born July 30, 1929 in Staunton, Va., he was a son of the late James Lewis and Jane Speck Clarkson. He was a member of Millboro Presbyterian Church. He is survived by a brother, William Walton Clarkson, Lynchburg; a niece, Jane Clarkson Moore, Greenville, N.C.; and a nephew, William Walton Clarkson Jr., Arlington. A graveside service for the family will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in Woodland Union Cemetery in Bath County, conducted by the Rev. John H. Haney. Memorial contributions to a charity of the donors choice are recommended in lieu of flowers. Hamrick Funeral Home, Staunton, is handling arrangements.
