OBIT FRIEZE, WILLIAM LEON
FRIEZE, William Leon, 51, a resident of 20269 Silo Ln., Zuni, died
Wednesday, April 7, 1993, at his home. He was a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa
and son of the late Gladys Clark Frieze McQueen and Albert Leon Frieze. He
attended Bethany Presbyterian Church, Zuni, and was an owner/operator truck
driver. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a former
employee of Roanoke Electric Steel Company. He is survived by his wife, Peggy
Carr Frieze; a son, Russell ("Rusty") L. Frieze, Roanoke; a stepson, Stephen
M. Cobb, Zuni; four sisters, Barbara Brown, Ruth Brown, Marcella Doss, all of
Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Joyce Morriss, Ringling, Okla.; three brothers, Bob
Frieze and Ed Frieze, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Donald Frieze of
Randolph, Iowa; two stepbrothers, John and Marvin Frieze, Council Bluffs,
Iowa. A funeral service will be held in Bethany Presbyterian Church, Zuni, on
Saturday, April 10, 1993, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. John P. Hartman. Burial will
be private. The family will be at the residence. Memorial donations may be
made to the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad or to Sentara - Norfolk General
Hospital, Hospice Ward. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling
arrangements.
