FOLK TALE ADAPTATION TO BE PERFORMED AS PLAY
"Three Drops of Blood," an Appalachian folk tale adapted as a play, will be performed at 11 a.m. Monday in Wytheville Community College's Grayson Hall Commons. Admission is free.The story, basically an Appalachian version of "Beauty and the Beast," will be performed by Lime Kiln Arts with original music and humor mixed in. This production had its premiere at the "Roots" festival in Atlanta in 1990.
The performance is sponsored by the college's Cultural Affairs Committee.
