VIRGINIA WESTERN SITE OF ROBB HEALTH CARE FORUM
Sen. Charles Robb has scheduled a series of health care forums throughout Virginia next week, including one Wednesday night at Virginia Western Community College.
The forums are open to the public, and individuals are invited to speak.
"We wrote everyone who has written us on health care and invited them," said Peggy Wilhide, the senator's press secretary. "But everyone is welcome to speak."
She said there was no need for speakers to sign up in advance.
The Roanoke forum will be held at the college's Whitman Auditorium in the Business-Science building between 7:30 and 9 p.m. The college is located at 3095 Colonial Ave. S.W.
Robb has also scheduled forums in Harrisonburg on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Rockingham County Administration Building; on Thursday in Danville at 1 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Retirement Center, in Richmond at 7:30 p.m. at Mary Munford Elementary School; and in Fredericksburg April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library.
