OBIT PHILLIPS, TASZWELL MONTAGUE
PHILLIPS, Taszwell Montague, 78, of Roanoke, died Thursday, April 8, 1993. Mr. Phillips was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Bessie A. Phillips; a stepson, Richard Chilton and wife, Ann, Sanford, N.C.; three stepdaughters, Nadine Spencer and husband, Alvin, Roanoke; Barbara Ramsey and husband, Dan, Charlottesville, and Dorothy Mullins and husband, Ron, Jacksonville, Fla., two sisters, Guida Cox, Floyd, and Gertie Wilson, Roanoke; nine nephews and five nieces. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 1993 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Poland officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
