OBIT JOHNSTON, ANGIE COLEMAN
JOHNSTON, Angie Coleman, 85, of Aberthaw Ave., Newport News, died Friday,
April 9, 1993, in the James River Convalescent Center. Mrs. Johnston, a native
of Bassett, Va., was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church,
Newport News. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include
one son, William C. Johnston, Smithfield, Va.; one daughter, Lucille J.
Blanco, Baytown, Texas; three sisters, Madlyn Coleman, Wilda C. Ensign, Alma
C. Dudley, all of Salem, Va.; one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 11
a.m. Monday, April 12, 1993, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield, with
the Rev. Samuel W. Tatem officiating. Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery,
Smithfield. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at
the funeral home and suggest memorial donations may be made to the Isle of
Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, Virginia 23430.
Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, will handle arrangements.
