OBIT MALCOLM, ESTELLE MOORE
MALCOLM, Estelle Moore, 90, of Poquoson, a former resident of Roanoke for 50 years, died Friday, April 9, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Roanoke for 58 years where she served in leadership roles in missionary work, W.M.U., Girls Auxiliary, Vacation Bible School and as a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by two sisters, Eva M. Hogge of Poquoson, Allene M. Huddleston of Roanoke; four brothers, Lloyd C. Moore, Newport News, Frank Moore of Hampton, Hudson I. Moore of Hampton and Herman H. Moore Sr. of Hampton. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday in Emmaus Baptist Church, Poquoson, by the Rev. Jack A. Lawson Jr. and Mr. J. C. Thomas. Graveside service 2 p.m. Monday in Riverview Cemetery, Richmond. Visitation Sunday 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Mrs. Hogge, 101 Hunts Neck Rd., Poquoson.
