OBIT HOUSTON, CHARLES W.

HOUSTON, Charles W., 78, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, died Friday, April 9, 1993. Survivors include his wife, Freida Garrett Houston; one daughter, Patsy Starnes, Vinton, Va.; one sister, Mary Frances Malone, Piney Flats; one brother, Frank Helms Houston, Blountville; three grandchildren, Shannan Starnes, Lynchburg, Betsy Shea Starnes and Jennifer Starnes, both of Vinton; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home, Bristol, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Piney Flats, Tennessee.
