FRANCIS-HAWKINS

Mr. and Mrs. James H. Francis of Salem, are pleased to announce theengagement of their daughter, Tara Anne, to Steven Ray Hawkins. Steven is the son of Mrs. Gladys Cundiff and the late Mr. Oliver D. Cundiff of Vinton. Tara is a 1988 graduate of Northside High School and will receive her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech this year. Steven, whoreceived his doctorate in sociology from Virginia Tech, is employed by Grubb Management, Inc. Their wedding is planned for later this year.
