Rita Ciresi's book of short stories, "Mother Rocket," has won the Flannery O'Conner Award for Short Fiction from the University of Georgia Press. Ciresi is assistant professor of English at Hollins College. She will read from her fiction on April 22 at 8:15 p.m. in the Green Drawing Room of the Main Building. Admission is free. All are invited to attend.
