HEALTH-SCREENING CLINIC TUESDAY

A health-screening clinic will be held Tuesday at the Pulaski office of state Sen. Malfourd "Bo" Trumbo, R-Fincastle, at 67 W. Main St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a small charge for cholesterol and blood-sugar testing. The blood-pressure check is free.

This will be the latest in a series of health screenings sponsored by Pulaski Main Street Inc., Pulaski Community Hospital, the New River Valley Rescue Squad and Trumbo.

They have been held at the office Trumbo shares with Pulaski Main Street, which will move this month to another Main Street building nearby. C&S Galleries will open a store where their office has been.
