ANDERSON, Alfred Lewis, 48, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, April 13, 1993. He
was the owner and proprietor of A.L. Anderson Building Services. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Christine Anderson. Survivors
include his wife, Carolyn W. Anderson, Roanoke; four daughters, Yvonne
(Stuart) Hash, Roanoke, Teresa (Tracey) Farmer, Chatham, Valerie (Roger)
Farmer, Devina Anderson, both of Roanoke; three sons, Anthony (Eva) Warren,
Roanoke, James (Susan) Oliver, Gretna, Kevin E. Anderson, Roanoke; two
sisters, Edna (Dave) Cathcart, Winston-Salem, N.C., Lucy (Albert) Hampton,
Roanoke; three brothers, Bishop Walter (Mamie) Anderson, Jimmy L. Anderson,
John H. (Connie) Anderson, all of Roanoke; father-in-law, George Warren Sr.,
Roanoke; one sister-in-law, Joyce Inge, Roanoke; two brothers-in-law, George
Warren Jr. and Beverly Warren, both of Roanoke; 19 grandchildren; nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday
at 11 a.m. at the St. Matthews Church of God Apostolic with Bishop Walter
Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. Visitation
will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements by
Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
