LACROSSE-ROANOKE WOMEN CAPTURE 8TH WIN

Jen Shimrak scored two goals and had two assists as the Roanoke women came from behind to defeat Mary Washington 15-10 in a non-conference game at Salem.

The Maroons trailed 6-5 at halftime but outscored Mary Washington 10-4 in the second half for their fifth straight win.

Liz Florence, Kirsten Wagner and Francesca Foord-Kelcey each scored three goals for Roanoke (8-2).

The Maroons play host to Sweet Briar on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
