OBIT SHELOR, RHONDA LEE
SHELOR, Rhonda Lee, 16, of Vinton, died Friday, April 16, 1993, of Reyes Syndrome. She was in the tenth grade at Staunton River High School. She is survived by her mother, Carol Fizer Shelor, a sister, Lynda M. Cook, and her daughter, Ashley L. Cook, and a brother, Scott D. Madison, all of Vinton; and her maternal grandmother, Clara R. Fizer, Troutville. She is also survived by her father, Steve I. Shelor, and a half sister, Angie Shelor, both of Vinton; her paternal grandmother, Ruby Shelor, and a stepgrandfather, Ralph Shelor, New Castle; aunts and uncles, Gloria and Tim Richardson of Goodview, Roger Fizer of Troutville, Kathy and Gary Shelor of Bent Mountain; and cousins, Danny, Derek, Cindy, Missy, Kenny and Todd. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 1993, with Mr. Bruce A. Mulberry of Shenandoah Baptist Church Foreign Staff and Mr. Fred Shiplett officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday evenings. She will be sadly missed by all.
