OBIT JEFFERSON, KENNETH L.
JEFFERSON, Kenneth L., 77, of Richmond, died Thursday, April 15, 1993. He was born and raised in Danville, was a member of the Westover Baptist Church in Richmond, retired from Virginia Power Company, and served in the U.S. Army for 4 1/2 years during World War II. Surviving is one brother, Oscar C. Jefferson, Hampton; four sisters, Gladys J. Bailey of Richmond, Odella J. Cooke, Janet J. Lawrence and Octavia J. Oakes, all of Chatham, Va.; and several nieces and nephews including Ms. Kitty Riddle, Rocky Mount. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at the High Street Cemetery by the Dr. Stephen Richerson. Visitation will begin 4 p.m. Sunday at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence of Ms. Kitty Riddle.
