BIG EAST TEAM WILL GO TO SUNSHINE CLASSIC

The Big East has reached an agreement to send its third-place team to the New Year's Day Sunshine Football Classic, formerly the Blockbuster Bowl.

The game in Miami's Joe Robbie Stadium will be televised by CBS. The Big East's top two teams are placed by the Bowl Coalition.
