A citizens group called Friends Organized Regarding Carroll Education will get a detailed briefing from Carroll County Superintendent Oliver McBride at 7:30 p.m. Thursday on the proposed 1993-94 school budget.

The meeting will be held at the NationsBank branch in Hillsville. The group's next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 4 at Carroll County High School in Room 238. - Southwest bureau
