OBIT COX, VIRGINIA KACHE

COX, Virginia Kache, 89, of Mt. Dora, Fla., formerly of Herndon, Va., died Saturday, April 17, 1993, in Lake Eustis, Fla. She was born on November 17, 1903, in Washington, D.C., to the late Johannas and Annie Kache. She taught in Fairfax County schools for 5 years before moving to Wytheville, Va., where she taught from 1947 to 1968, at which time she retired. She moved from Wytheville, Va., to Florida in 1987. Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, G. Claude Cox of Mt. Dora, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara C. Polen of Leesburg, Va., Frances C. Smith of Auburn, Wash.; one son, G. Gayle Cox of London, Ky.; two grandsons, Clifford Smith and R. Stewart Smith, both of Auburn, Wash.; one sister, Olga K. Adamson of Edgewater, Md. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Va. Interment in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Va. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research.
