ENCLOSED CRIBS DRAW COMPLAINT AT DAY CARE

Cribs enclosed with slats on the top and a gate on one side were removed from a church day-care center after someone complained to social services officials.

Petersburg Commonwealth's Attorney Cassandra Burns said Wednesday that her office is reviewing the case to determine whether charges are warranted.

The Rev. Lewis R. Long, the Christian Life Center's pastor, said the cribs were big enough to comfortably hold an infant and were designed for safety.
