School Superintendent Jerry Bishop said a 12-year-old boy with a broken nose and possible fractured cheekbone and a 15-year-old girl with a compound fracture of the leg were transferred from Lee County Community Hospital to Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. A 15-year-old girl was admitted to the Lee County hospital for treatment of cuts and bruises, Bishop said.
