CHAMBER CONDUCTING MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

The Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce is conducting its membership drive during May. On May 11 a luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn, U.S. 460 south.

Each Chamber member who brings a prospective member will receive a free lunch, as will the prospective member.

A marketing and management forum will be held on May 18, at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The forum is free and will be televised on Channel 2.

A membership showcase and mixer is scheduled for May 20 at Custom Catering, Patrick Henry Drive and N. Main Street. Chamber member businesses set up booths to display their products or services and pass out literature, conduct demonstrations and show videotapes. Cost is $50 per business.
