OBIT-BAMBERG, COREAN

BAMBERG, Corean, 86, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 1993, in a local nursing home. Survivors include one daughter, Frozina S. Gibson; son-in-law, Albert Gibson; three devoted grandchildren, Elder F. Douglas Sweetenberg, Steven Sweetenberg, Coral Ann Nance, all of Roanoke; a host of other grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two devoted great-granddaughters, Sian R. Little, Leah A. Little, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Lucille Hayes, Brooklyn, N.Y., Rhumell Saunders, Washington, D.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., High Street Baptist Church with Rev. U. N. Broady officiating with burial in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
