OBIT-NAFF, ERNEST SHERRARD, ("BUDDY")

NAFF, Ernest Sherrard, ("Buddy"), 62, of Route 1, Rocky Mount, died Thursday, April 22, 1993, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest C. and Elda F. Naff. Surviving are his wife, Lenoria B. Naff, Rocky Mount; his children, Karen and Danny Parks of Keswick, Va., Paul Ernest and Sherry Naff of Woodlawn, Va., Michael D. and Crystal Naff, Boones Mill, Noell Sherrard Naff of the home; four grandchildren, Daniel and Paul Andrew Naff, Kaitlyn and Caleb Parks; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nadine and Bently Flora, Mildred and Darius Plunkett, all of Boones Mill; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul A. and Marinda Burger of Bonsack; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Doris and Ray Otey, Roanoke, Barbara and Dewey Snider of Cloverdale. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. in Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Fred A. Driver officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
