`LONG WAY HOME' TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED

Auditions for all roles in the 1993 summer production of "The Long Way Home" will be held May 15 from noon until 5 p.m. and May 16 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Ingles Amphitheatre, Wilderness Road in West Radford (take Exit 105 from Interstate 81).

The production committee asks that all actors and prospective actors attend these auditions. The production includes roles for men, women and children.

A historical drama, "The Long Way Home" portrays the story of Mary Draper Ingles' capture and escape from Indian captivity and her journey back home to the New River Valley.

"The Long Way Home" opens for its 23rd season on June 24. Performances continue through Sept. 5.
