The university will be host to three weeklong educational programs for senior citizens this year.
Courses during the first week, May 16-22, will focus on great moments in classical music, enhancing visual literacy and health and wellness methods.
The second week's program, May 23-29, will delve into the human mind and how hypnotic states affect the brain, sociological issues facing sports, and how to communicate with others.
The last session, June 6-12, will explore the impact of television, why great storytellers never seem to give a straight answer and techniques used by extremist groups to recruit and retain members.
Any interested senior citizen is invited to participate in Radford University's Elderhostel program, either on a commuter or full-residential basis.
A full session, including lodging and meals, is $295.
