BRANDON OAKS CENTER TO BE DEDICATED JUNE 6

The dedication service for Brandon Oaks, the newest Lutheran Church in America facility in the Roanoke Valley, is scheduled June 6 at 3 p.m. The life-care retirement home is at 3804 Brandon Ave. S.W.

Speaking will be the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Marshall of Chicago. He is a former president of the old Lutheran Church in America and has spoken previously in Western Virginia. A reception and open house will follow the service. The home for active retirement-age adults was occupied several weeks ago.
