Karen Renee Wilhelm and JohnWalter Hoffman, Jr. were married April 10, 1993 in Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church by Dr. William O. Moore, Jr. The matron of honor was Robin L. Bryant, friend. The bridesmaids were Kelley L. Wilhelm, sister of the bride, Katrina D. Wilhelm, sister of the bride, Janie C.Tyree, cousin of the bride. Jr. bridesmaid was Miss Tara L. Saylor, cousin of the bride. The best man was Eddie D.Hoffman, brother of the groom. The ushers were Richard P. Newcomb, Kenneth S. Holley, Duane A. Boothe, Ricky W. Fuhram and Mark D. Linkenhoker, all friends of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Wilhelm of Troutville. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and attended Va. Western Community College. The bride is employed by Bank of Fincastle Mortgage Center. The bridegroom, son of JohnWalter Hoffman, Sr. of Clifton Forge and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight L. Bradley of Paint Bank, is a graduate of Alleghany High School and holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, College of Engineering & Technology. The bridegroom is employed by Westvaco Corp. The newlyweds will live in Houston, Texas after the wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
