Sandra Renee Cooper and Howard Ashworth McKinney, III, were united in marriage on May 8, 1993 in Calvary Memorial Church by the Rev. Larry Eenigenburg.

Patricia Jarrett, sister of thebride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Lynette Roberson and Donna Horsley, friends of the bride; Rebecca McKinney, sister of the groom; and Crystal Jarrett, niece of the bride. Emily Beckner was the flowergirl. Jay McKinney, cousin of the groom, servedas best man. The ushers were Allan Wingfield and Paul Miller, friends of the groom; Steven Cooper, brother of the bride; and Brian Jarrett, nephew of the bride. Kevin Cox was the ringbearer. Sandra is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack R. Cooper of Salem. Howard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard A. McKinney, II of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Liberty University.

The newlyweds will reside in Salem.
